The name of Solomon Baruch Louzada can be seen in the schoolroom at the Synagogue with the date 5448 (which converts to 1688). He was a cousin of Moses Baruh Lousada of London and David Baruch Louzada and was a lesser contributor to the family's economic wellbeing as can be seen from the taxes paid to the Jewish community in Amsterdam.		This is the first of the boards showing those contributing to the Ets Haim educational charity set up by the Portuguese Jewish community of Amsterdam; Solomon's name appears some 30 years after the list started in 1659.
