On 17
Oct 1759 Charles proclaimed the Duque a Grandee of Spain
of the First Class and this document is the official record found by Maria Jose Surribas.
This grant was non-hereditary (ref
164) but was needed for the Duque to be Sumiller de Corps in
Spain - Miranda had to make a payment of 1800 reales vellon for it (ref
