He was born in 1787 but married on 22 Ab 5568 ie 15 Aug 1808 (aged 21).

The evidence from the 1861 Census was that he was born in Middlesex;  his younger sister Bella is sometimes stated to have been born in Jamaica - see http://akevoth.org/genealogy/asser/756.htm - but this must be incorrect on the basis just stated.

www.barrow-lousada.org shows family records that he was born in Middlesex - go to Simon Barrow of Bath page

49. Tryphena Esther Lyon de Symons

According to Tony Harding, she died Jewish, but Simon Barrow converted. Her brother Samuel married Bella Barrow late in life after she was widowed by the death of Moses Baruh Lousada

Rupert Musgrove suggests she was born 1785 the same year as Henrietta (twins?) but as she was married in 1808 a later date is preferred
