it is not easy to see how Irene de Lousada in the Dirsztay Family Tree could have been, or acquired the identity of, Irene Gara - especially as Ilona de Lousada was given the same birthday as Irene de Lousada ie 29 Nov 1881 (though 27 Nov 1881 is also given for Ilona).
perhaps Ilona did not have a twin Irene after all, and that the similarity of birthdates (29 Nov 1881 for Irene Gara, and 27 Nov 1881 for Ilona de Lousada) prompted Richard de Dirsztay to create the twin story and to make the birthdate of Irene de Lousada 2 days later to match that of Irene Gara. Certainly the 2 death dates for Ilona (1967 and 1944) supports this deception for Irene's death is given as 25 May 1966 so 1967 for Ilona (rather than her more realistic-looking 1944 Budapest death) adds to the twin illusion!
Why would Richard have created this illusion? Perhaps it seemed to give retrospective credibility to Erno's Lousada nobility bid!
