http://synagoguescribes.com/blog/Jewish-will-extracts-18th-19th-century/?value=360
The will as shown on this website has a question mark against this name - with this being the only offspring shown. He was also a 'coloured boy' for whom manumission was sought in London.
See notes for Joseph - Richard appears as a boy whilst the 2 girls married - suggesting he was the youngest. He was less than 20 at the time of Joseph's will and thus born after 1785 - Joseph died in 1806 with probate in 1808.
John Griffiths on 28 Feb 2018 provided this information:
'There is a birth record of a Richard Barrow being born a Mulatto to EBarrow (Estate? Elizabeth?) on 23 October 1793. There were no other records I could find for a Richard Barrow between 1750 and 1800. There was also a burial record for a Richard Barrow (Free Negro) on 14 February 1818. However, while I am comfortable with 23 October 1793 being the Richard we are looking for, the death may not be.
On 30th March, 1844 a Richard Barrow was born to a Richard and Susan Barrow. Aside from a Richard Barrow born in 1839, there were no other Richard Barrows born on the Island in the 1800s who would have been the right age. Therefore, it is very possible that the Richard Barrow who died in 1818 was not the Richard we are looking for (he was described as a negro)'.

With some difficulty, we have concluded that though she is known as Judith Joseph Levi (see will extract of Joseph Barrow on www.barrow-lousada.org key documents), her real father was Jacob Levi. Marriage #24 of ref 132 of www.barrow-lousada.org gives her name as Judith Jacob Levi. As the will of the first Simon Barrow refers to her mother as Eve Joseph, it seems that she married Jacob first then Joseph. The Barrow Family Tree on www.barrow-lousada.org shows Eve as marrying Jacob Levi.
Judith Jacob/Joseph Levi married Eliezer Montefiore; but cousin (step-half-brother!) was Jacob Joseph Levi. Both siblings contributed Australian immigrants and both were ancestors of the Levi Montefiores.
Many genealogies erroneously have her as Judith (nee) Barrow - omitting the fact that she is a granddaughter not a daughter of SB1 as can be seen from the will of SB1 (see Frank Cheesman's notes on this will on www.barrow-lousada.org - go to 'key documents'). She is described as Judith Barrow of London and Barbados by http://miriamhakedosha.blogspot.com/2008/08/montefiore-family.html
Details re birth and death are on www.barrow-lousada.org - Barbados page
birthdate not known but probably in the 1775-7 period
of Barbados (from will of Joseph Barrow)
had a 'country seat' in the village of Fonte Belle ref 131 Chapter 11 p207 indicating commercial success
http://miriamhakedosha.blogspot.com/2008/08/montefiore-family.html gives an incorrect account of the children of Eliezer Montefiore. Thus it gives them as:
John Castello Montefiore [b.1790] who married Mary Elizabeth Law (not correct for James Greener shows that he was born around 1794 and was not a son of the marriage with Judith Joseph Levi)Moses Augustus Montefiore [b.1798]Jacob Montefiore [b.1802] who married Justina Lydia GompertzJoseph Barrow Montefiore [b.1801] who married Rebecca MoccataEsther Hannah Montefiore [b.1799] who married Isaac LeviEvelina Montefiore who married Abraham MocattaSarah Montefiore[b.1782] who married Thomas Farrell son of Nathaniel Farrell was not of this 1797 marriage - it is likely not only that her birthdate shown here is incorrect but neither was a daughter of Eliezer's sister Rachel for she married in 1788 aged 23.
Jewish Encyclopedia gives him marrying granddaughter of Simon Barrow (of Amsterdam - except that there is no evidence Simon Barrow was in Amsterdam!)
