Simon Greenfield reasoned that the 1752 codicil to the 1748 will of Jacob #36 shows birthdate range of 1748-52 for both daughters her and Rebecca #89
Birthdate 1743-1754 based on Simon Greenfield analysis of Mendes da Costa wills. Most likely he was born in Jamaica around 1745 making him 20 at first marriage
Buried at Novo Cemetery 2247. His obituary is in Gentleman's Magazine

According to ref 125 #300 Abraham Ezekiel son of Isaac died a child on 27 Jan 1748. According to ref 125 #307, another Abraham Haim died as a child 10 May 1753.
Ref 287 appears to be in error here when it puts Abraham #2165 as a son of Isaac #1568. As both father and mother had a father David, the first son would have been David. Therefore Abraham #2165 was assigned to the wrong Isaac.
We therefore assign Abraham to be the son of Isaac #1582 who is given as a son of Abraham #1587 by ref 287.

We suggest Abraham #1587 who was in Curacao in 1742 when he married Abigail Nunes da Costa. He had an earlier marriage to Esther #2432 but we have not been able to point to his first wife's grave. There are 3 Curacao graves of the children of Abraham dated 1731 (twice!) and 1737 but his surviving son Isaac was born in Surinam in 1727.
From this earlier marriage probably also came Rachel #1281 (birthplace unknown but probably Surinam like her brother Isaac). Perhaps she was the wife of David #1528 and whose daughter Esther #1282 would have been a niece of her husband Isaac #1582 who was Rachel's brother.
