Portrait of King Charles 3 of Spain 1716-88 by Anton Raphael Mengs; Prado Museum, Madrid. An almost identical painting can be found in the Palacio Real, as can a very similar likeness but clothed in blue and white drapes.
The Duque de Losada 1706-83 served this man in Napoli and Madrid for over 30 years as el Sumiller de Corps (Groom of the Stole) a role which was a contraction of the role of Camarero Mayor (Grand Chamberlain)
